Nara'a Sunvara was born in the Wellwick Wood, on the border of Thanalan and the Black Shroud. He and his tribe hunted and gathered, as miqo'te do, and life was relatively quiet. Nara'a (named as such since he was the first son of Nara Sunvara) had an unusual talent for magic. His mother did not entirely approve, preferring her eldest son practice with a bow rather than a staff, but quietly Nara'a kept his studies up. Besides, he'd always been a terrible shot.
Eventually this, plus the natural tendency for male Keepers of the Moon to wander, escalated into a full blown argument between him and his mother. The end result was him apologizing for being so willful, but the damage was already done. He left his tribe on cool terms, leaving behind his mother, brother, and five sisters along with the rest of their small tribe to study in Ul'dah, home of the Thaumaturge's Guild in the hopes of developing his gifts further.

Personality:
Nara'a is a man of action and circumstances. He is a man who works hard but doesn't play hard - most would describe him as humble or - if they're feeling a bit bold - shy. As the Warrior of Light he's had the weight of the world (or worlds!) thrust on his shoulders many a time, but he's never been the type to brag about his achievements, only recalling the stories of his adventures when specifically prompted to. In a party he's the sort to hang near the edge of the room, looking for interesting tomes or generally admiring the scenery. If he wasn't the Warrior of Light he'd be a good teacher, tending to be patient with people almost to the point of getting walked all over.
Some of this is due to his upbringing - Keepers of the Moon tend to be highly matriarchal and don't see men as much use. His family tended to see his talents as less important than bringing in meat and game, so any achievements he had growing up were looked down on - and so he has a tendency to look down on his own talents. Despite being a highly skilled mage and melee fighter, he doesn't show off. His mind is generally on the next adventure - or the well-being of those around him. He's a gentle soul (to the point where his caretaking tendencies have some wondering why he never picked up healing) and would rather talk out a peaceful solution than jump headfirst into a fight. That being said, he's never one to turn down an adventure when the opportunity presents itself.
HOwever when those around him are threatened and it's clear talking will do no good, he springs into action. He's cut down foes without a moment of hesitationo in order to ensure the safety of his friends - his family - and has had moments of lost control. This has only intensified with his taking up of the scythe - his reaper voidsent 'avatar' responds to his feelings of destruction, and when he's angry... nothing will stop him from slicing through what's needed to clear a path for people. He prefers to not show this side to others, tending towards using his red mage abilities when most people are around... but there's a hidden beast in his heart waiting to emerge if the need arises.
Nara'a has developed into a smart military leader when needed - between the fight to rule the Azim Steppe and attacks against the Garleans and rushing through dungeons he knows how to use the strengths and weaknesses of people to his advantage. He only does this when he has to, however - if need be he prefers to take on the burden of things himself. The amount of stress on him does cause him to crack sometimes, but he has enough self-control to crack away from people and use that on the battlefield. He's walked enough of the path of the Dark Knight to know that it's his love for others that motivates him the most - but that he can't keep taking on everything. Seeing Elidibus crack under the weight of hopes and dreams has caused him some distress - he doesn't w'ant to be that desperate. Still, the more the world is in danger the more gets piled on to him. He's not going to last forever under the pressure, and he knows he needs to relieve some of it - but what's a person to do when the whole world relies on you for saving?
Abilities: Red Mage, Reaper, and Warrior job actions.
In addition, Nara'a possesses the Echo, a powerful ability that both protects him from being 'tempered' or mentally influenced by gods as well as allows him to see the past of another. This ability is not triggered by his own doing, but seems to occur 'randomly' (aka when plot relevant).
He can breathe underwater and swim very well, thanks to a Kojin blessing.
He's a fair weaver as well - not a master weaver by any means, but capable of creating decent clothing from fabric and similar materials.
Also as a miqo'te he has slightly better hearing and eyesight than the average hyur (human). His fingers also end in short claws which he can use in a fight (though he tends not to).
Items: Red mage job stone, Reaper job stone, and Warrior job stone.
Digimon: Botamon - Budmon - Kotemon. The plan is eventually to go to Wizardmon and then figure it out from there.
Digimon Partner:
Personality: Initially a crybaby, Botamon is afraid of most things. He's awfully cute, which helps him out - but that doesn't help out for everything. He's been waiting for his partner, and he knows they're out there - he just has to find them! He's torn between his desire for adventure and his terrible fear of the unknown, and he hopes that finding a partner will help him out. He tends to rely on others right now because he's small, but one day he'll be big and he can help others who rely on him! He just... has to stop crying, first.
